This place scores a 3.5 out of 5 stars. Slightly above average but not great. Decent but not amazing. Service friendly but not super attentive. Again I hate asking for water and again I had to ask and for refills. We started with fried pickles and bacon wrapped jalapeños. Fried pickles were great however a little greasy but solid 4.5/5 in my book. Bacon wrapped jalapeños just average 3/5. It was missing spice and flavor. I mainly tasted bacon. My husband and I split a rack of ribs which included two sides. More than enough to share. We didn't finish. Mac and cheese was good 3/5 but I prefer a different style. Cole slaw was great full of flavor 5/5. We finished off the meal with the small banana pudding which was perfect for two to share. Light and fluffy 5/5. We had a decent time but nothing to pull me back to this place. If you are in the area might be good to try but I wouldn't make a special trip. Just another thing we were lucky we got seats at the bar otherwise party of two was at least a thirty minute wait at 9pm on a Friday night. Usually past my bedtime
Update!!! 8/6/15
I love that midtown responded my review and it was NOT a generic response it was detailed to my review. That brought then up to four stars for sure! It's nice to know they use fresh jalapeños therefore spice on the appetizer will very. I look forward to going back and writing a five star review!
