My dog Bailee was extremely sick with cancer and I knew even her short term life was grim. She wouldn't eat and her breathing became very labored. I knew I had to do the right thing to ease her suffering.
I called Phoenix Mountain because they had high reviews. I explained that she was breathing hard and labored and requested euthanasia. They made an opening for me and I drove her there. The staff from the front desk to the Vet Techs were all extremely sympathetic. They were so very kind.
Dr.Karnarish came in and explained the process. He was so gentle and caring. He gave her a sedative to make the transition easier and relax her. He also helped me cope with my own feelings and had such a comforting demeanor. The euthanasia was performed and I honestly felt she went peacefully. That helped knowing she felt no pain.
Nobody wants to go through this and unfortunately doctors can't cure every health problem. As a pet owner, this at some point becomes inevitable. It is nice to know that there are truly compassionate, caring veterinary clinics that can offer both the wellness care and take care of the end of life issues so wonderfully.
Thank you to the entire staff at Phoenix Mountain. You made it easier. Thank you!
