| - My partner & I aren't really fans of a buffet & have only been a handful of times in the last several years. We were only doing a short trip to Vegas & thought we would include one of the well reviewed buffets.
After having a quick look online to decide on a buffet, we selected this one. We had noted that there would be a long wait but I wish I had looked at that a little more before going.
We are not rewards members or entitled to any sort of VIP access so just went through the normal line. We arrived just after 6pm, saw that it was $60 per person & got a ticket which told us the time to return for our "booking slot". The ticket said 8.35pm so we had to really fill in some time.
There is a VIP option to skip the line, but that is an extra $55 per person! No way. $60 each is more than enough for this.
When we return at 8.30pm, we join the line to pay & then the next line which is getting ready to be seated. We finally get to a table about 9.10pm so in total, it's been a 3 hour wait since we collected our ticket.
For anyone planning on doing this buffet & just paying the normal price to get through the line, definitely have something planned to fill in the lengthy wait time.
After we were seated, our waitress was good. Attentive & quick with the drinks & clearing plates etc.
There is a good selection of different foods, from a multitude of cuisines but a bit hit & miss. Some of the Asian dishes were quite good, such as the chow mein & BBQ pork. Pizza was OK. Salads were drab. Carvery meat was OK. I'm not a fan of seafood but many other people were packing their plates with crab. They also have a taco bar which I didn't try & a number of other things. Overall, quite a good range of food but average quality overall.
The desert bar was nice. The crepes & gelato were yummy so try to keep room for a bit of desert at the end.
If the wait time had been more reasonable, I might have given four stars, but it's pretty nuts. My partner & I also prefer a sit down restaurant to a buffet anytime so I'll tend to be maybe a bit more critical of a buffet.
All in all, if you enjoy buffets & account for the wait, you will probably enjoy this one. I think it's a little overpriced for what it is & probably would have preferred to spend the money at a better restaurant. For me, it will be a once only visit but it does offer a large range of options, especially if you have fussy eaters in your group & a restaurant selection is difficult.
