| - What do you look for in a brewpub? Beer; atmosphere, and the people.
Wren House has some of the best beer across an impressive array of styles in the valley, if you want a citrusy hop bomb they've got two fantastic IPAs that highlight different characteristics of the style. One a balanced west coast style, and the other an unfiltered juicy treat. If big hops aren't your thing, they have a roasted coffee inspired oatmeal stout and options all the way to an American lager with Minnesota Wild Rice. They have an outstanding Kolsch, or even a tart refreshing sour and they're developing a barrel program! You can get a pint, a flight, and growlers so you can try them all and take your favorites home.
The atmosphere is perfect for taking a client to grab a beverage and discuss fine details after work(or at lunch on Friday). It's clean, simple and classic. It's welcoming and extremely clean with a couple areas for groups along with the main bar. Parking is easily accessed from 24th in the lot to the south of the brewery or the few spaces in front. It's also conveniently close to the airport just north of 202.
The people are the best in town, they treat you like family and within a couple stops they know your name and the beer you had last time. They'll fill you in on whatever is new, or about to tap and if you're new they're sure to find you something you'll enjoy if you don't know how the menu breaks down.
All in all, I've been going since day 1, and will continue as often as possible. It's comfortable
when you walk in, the beer continues to impress.
