| - We've enjoyed dinner here several times. I keep coming back for their "Artichoke and Black Truffle Soup." All of their tasting menus include this soup. On our most recent visit, this restaurant was the busiest we've ever seen it. Most of the staff we saw have been here since they opened. They're still terrific; it just felt like they were spread a little thin (especially at these prices). As their wine list is intimidating to me, we chose their latest menu option - 5 courses with wine pairings. As most of the wines had vintages and the price was very high we trusted them to pick the wines. Turns out these weren't the best wines (not bad, but again, at these prices, you expect more). The langoustine tartare with golden ostera caviar and poached-fried quail egg was exquisite. The version with salmon tartare, not so much. The Japanese Wagyu was amazing. Unfortunately, they switched our orders. Mine was served too rare, my partners the opposite. The bread cart and the dessert cart both contain delicious options and are both over the top excessive, more than you need, but less than they were. As to the decor - it's starting to look old and tired. If you're going, I'd recommend you order a la carte. Start with the soup and definitely try the Wagyu.
