| - The people who work here do their best to be helpful. They'll do what they can, or find someone else who knows more. They'll give you what information they have, and not try to BS you if they don't know anything. Staff changes often, but my experience with everyone has always been very good. In a garden center, it's really important to get the information you need before taking your plants home.
Another thing I love about Jung's is their seed selection. The bare-root nursery is great, too.
In general, their prices are reasonable.
Some problems:
- The indoor part of the store smells strongly of chemicals. I need a shower after visiting.
- I often see plants for sale that aren't in good condition (leggy seedlings, houseplants with dead leaves, etc.)
- There always seems to be new staff who don't know what they're doing (not the newbies' fault, and I'm giving them props for trying, but best customer service requires retaining staff).
- You really need to call ahead if you're looking for something specific, since they don't get things in much before it's time to plant.
-And the whole Jung Dollar thing -- meh, it's only good a few weeks of the year, and more trouble than it's worth.
-No bike parking.
