I've eaten here at couple of times in the past and the food here has always been very solid. This time was no exception. They have a weird policy not to bring out any bread until the food has been ordered. Maybe many have left after filling up on their bread and then decided not to order. So once we ordered our food they brought out some of the bread served with romano cheese, olive oil and a spicy oil to dip the bread in. We started off with the bibzy fried calamari. Tender and delicious with a sweet n spicy sauce sprinkled with sesame seeds.
I opted for the protein side of the entrees and ordered the veal piccata. A generous portion of veal that was ohhhh so tender and delicious. I could easily cut it with a fork, no knife needed. The veal was sitting in a delicious sauce of wine, butter, lemon, olive oil and surrounded by tasty capers. The meal was very filling and by the time dessert was offered I was too full to partake. I'll definitely have to save room for some tiramisu the next time around.
