| - Anyone building a pool must realize that is it major construction. Major construction never goes without a hitch. Desert Springs is in the tile and decking phase of my pool/spa/landscape project. So far, I cannot believe the ease and speed of progress.
My designer has been exceptional. An initial walk thru, meet-n-greet, and some overall insight into what we were looking for. What followed were multiple exceptional designs, quick mods to mold into a design for us, and a final design. We even made a few adjustments to these to make I perfect. Paul has been imaginative and responsive throughout.
Pool layout was completed the day after DS pulled my permits by the construction Superintendent. Based on the layout, I requested the entire project be moved. No issue. The next day, Dan resprayed the layout without a question.
The excavators began the following day. The 2 main guys were a joy to have around for a week and completed quickly and accurately. Next, a day or two later the gas, plumbing and electrical rough was completed. The electricians working with Dan are installing sheer descent they have never used before and have been great working with new hardware.
Shotcrete was awesome to watch. This is where I gave the 4 vs 5 stars though. While completed quickly and accurately, the works left 10+ empty water bottles and food wrappers lying around the backyard. Not that big of a deal, but worth mentioning.
Tile and block work in progress. Will try to update upon completion.
Paul (Designer) and Dan (Superintendent) have been awesome. There must have been some other issue going on in the personal, negative review. If I started again tomorrow, I would walk through the Desert Springs doors.
