My wife made reservations with great anticipation from news and reviews. Unfortunately, the meal we had left a lot to be desired. While I won't say the food was horrible, nor the service, it was not that "wow" experience we were hoping for.
We ordered the kimchi bacon appetizer with Brussels sprouts and found too much fat and would have loved a few more brussels on the plate to enjoy the flavors. The 45.00 filet had a fatty piece that seemed way too big for the cut meat. I would assume the kitchen cuts from the loin and could've held this piece back. The sticky rice I ordered to accompany dinner was very good, but came out late, well after I was thru half my meal.
Perhaps they had an off night, we received some bad plates or it just isn't our type of food. Average is what I would consider this place and will continue to frequent El Chorro instead when dining in PV.
