Hello I don't like making bad reviews but this is an exception. This is one of worst place I have ever experienced. I have had packages come through the mail, gone missing and stolen. The package that I was tracking made it to the office yet it went missing when the "3rd party" came (ups,usps,fed-ex) and had some one in the office sign for it. I'm not getting any questions answered, just replies from the front desk asking me to "look up and see who signed for it". That still doesn't help the fact that we got notifications from THE UNIVERSITY HOUSE RESIDENTS PORTAL (WHERE YOU PAY YOUR RENT TO) telling us we have a package to pick up (no description on the package or the tracking #) -so get my frustration.
Here's another example: Another package that was from jcpenny was sent to my boyfriend and I this past Christmas. It had gifts from family members from his home town, and it was for sure stolen. There was someone who signed for the package and immediately returned it and tried to get the money back for it, good thing jcpenny sent the money back to our family members credit card instead of cash like what the thief wanted or else university house would have been held even more responsible.
On another note, I don't recommended you moving here. There are plenty of places that aren't going to lose your packages and not to mention will come to your apartment unannounced at random times of the day "working on work orders" I requested months ago.
We received so many "inspections" that the front office has to check, it's unbelievable.
They don't respect your privacy, point blank. My boyfriend was showering with the bathroom door open and our master bedroom door closed yet they seem to find their way in and intrude/ be loud.
The elevators are always out of service. The security guards will give you a heck of a time getting in if you're locked out so don't lose your keys!
We will not be resigning after years of this mess. We are actually looking at @the union. They are pet friendly and seem to be more organize from what we've seen.
