| - I had an lovely experience here and can confidently recommend it to those who are just looking for a standard, no-nonsense nail salon for gel nails.
I made an appointment today for 3:15, calling an hour beforehand. They fit me in without issues. I arrived around 3:10 and got sat down immediately. I wanted a full set of Bio Seaweed Gel Nails with tips.
The lady that did my nails took time to be extremely detailed in making sure my nails were filed properly with a drill-bit while also watching out for my thin nails that needed some extra attention. During that time, I had a chance to look at their color selection and design options. There's definitely a good number of colours to choose from, and they can do designs like flowers, marbling, striping tape, the list goes on!
I asked for a french manicure and could not be more pleased with how neat and tidy they came out! Other salons have left them crooked, sheer, and sloppy. My technician took time to tidy the edges and make sure they were all even, like what a french manicure should look like.
The only little detail I found a bit strange was that towards the end, she skipped using the clear BSG to top off my nails, and used IBD instead. It kind of defeated the purpose of Bio Seaweed Gel, seeing as BSG is a soak-off gel while IBD is a file-off.
It cost a total of $50 for a full set, plus $5 for the french manicure (most places charge $10). Would I come back? If I was in the area then absolutely!!
