  • Cheers to Humble Wine Bar for elevating this strip of Lakewood's Detroit Avenue, (previously home solely to the strip-mall dregs of Drug Mart and Hollywood Video) to a hip and elegant dining milieu! Though I cannot speak to the kitchen's output, on a recent visit I was overwhelmingly impressed with the well-curated Wine List and gorgeous, charming interior! The front patio somehow lets you forget that you are sitting squarely street-facing; it is spacious, visually apart from the road, and well-appointed with deep picnic tables, hanging lights, and heaters. I would wholly recommend Humble as a date-night destination or a place to gather with girlfriends. I look forward to returning and sampling more of what they have to offer!
