My fiancee and I were very excited and took our first body heat 1 - Intro to Power Flow Yoga with Derek Welker who I thought did a really good job! We were beat after the session but felt great and planned to get the 30 days for $30 deals. I give Derek 5 stars and this review is not a reflection of him or the class we took.
This review is a reflection of what happened after the class was over. The front desk lady (didn't get her name) took OVER half an hour to try to figure out how to charge my credit card(s) and did so unsuccessfully. She claimed my cards were both denied yet when trying to charge them she didn't know what an expiration date was and didn't know what the "three digit" number was when prompted by the computer. She couldn't find her phone to call the manager. I had to call her phone for her to find it where it was in her purse, right in front of her. She called the manager and the manager said that I must not have had sufficient funds in my accounts... How unprofessional! After such a hassle and over half an hour after our class, I just wanted to go! I decided to cancel the 30 days for $30 and just pay for two walk in sessions and threw down $40 in cash and left.
Apparently the front desk lady is working for "trade". I can't believe I am this pissed off after a yoga session that I felt so great afterwards. Get yourself a person who isn't such a space cadet at the front desk and you would earn yourself more business. She really ruined what my fiancee and I were planning to do for sometime. We will look to one of the MANY other yoga studios in the city. Customer service gets 0 stars.
