  • I ran RnR Arizona in 2010 as my first marathon and have since run 3 more (Chicago twice and NYC). I've also done other RnR events and I'm kinda of in the meh stages with them. The course in 2010 was a point to point course, starting in Phoenix, ending in Tempe and it sounds like it's still the same. It's a flat course, which is something I liked, but there's not a whole lot out there to see on the course which is disappointing. There were stretches where there was just no one out there or that was on open highway. There was a good amount of fluid and hydration stations on course which is appreciated. Cons: Competitor overprices their races and it's gotten worse since 2010 and I've had issues with getting friends bibs while at the expo or not being able to which is beyond crazy.
