| - Very cool (literally) idea with lots of options for getting creative with concoctions. I, however, chose to go with one of their house sundaes that looked scrumptious on the display board: the mint ice cream mixed with Oreos®. The nice young lady taking the order asked for my choice, so I pointed to the mint w/ Oreos® on the display. She asked if I'd like the Oreos® on top of the sundae. "Nope" I replied, "just the way it looks right there," once again pointing to the board. "Which one?" she asked. "That one. (pointing) The one with the Oreos®." It was an interesting back and forth.
I eagerly awaited my ice cream and when my name was called and my sundae was placed on the counter, I excitedly dipped my colorful spoon into what I was certain would my a creamy delight - for $13.00 what else would I expect? First bite, no Oreo®. Second bite, no Oreo®. Third; forth; fifth - nothing. I finished the brownie and tossed the rest of the mint ice cream in the trash, disappointed in the time spent. I was also one of three people in there, so I wondered how the order would come out wrong.
I get it - they're new. However, because of that there should be a manager on duty to make sure every order comes out perfectly to establish a good first impression. I'll be back again, but the next time I'll be on guard to make certain my order is prepared the way it was requested. I walked to my car disappointed in the time and money I'd wasted.
I wish them the best.
Give them a try. Be patient, as they ARE new. However, that newness is no excuse for not getting what you pay for. I will give them another try once they've settled in more and found a rhythm.
