I give Empire a zero although I did use them 2 years ago for living room carpet in the condo and I had absolutely no problem and the work was great this time I wanted carpet in one bedroom no problem with the sales man had a delivery date of the 24th which was a good week and a half or so from the time of salesman was at my place I needed time to clear out the bedroom as much as I could and they were to remove a couple of pieces of large furniture Saturday on the 24th of February I got a phone call they cannot come that day they don't have enough people I asked for Sunday they couldn't accommodate that they want to come Monday I tell them I work I work a little bit in the morning a little bit in the afternoon and I knew they would not be done in between the work times so I gave up and told them three that was agreed upon I got a phone call mid-morning Monday they cannot come one of the guys car broke down coming back from Arizona so the crew can't come out can they come tomorrow which is Tuesday today that I'm writing this and they were supposed to be out at 3 today around 10 or so I get a recorded message about my morning appointment so I get upset and I called customer service and I tell her everything and that they're supposed to be out here is what the man told me that called me on Monday she put me on hold then comes back and tells me they will be there at 3 by noon I have an installer at the gate wanting to come in and I told him you're supposed to be here at 3 I have to go to work at 1:30 he was upset I was upset he made his phone call I made my phone call to customer service again and supposedly he was to come out at 4:30 when he finished another job by 4:45 no installer I call again I talk to a supervisor he tells me they have until 6 to get out there and that the guy will call me that he was finishing up a job of course he never calls me I only put $26 deposit down I want my money back though and I'm done I want to break the contract but I do not want them to try and hold me liable when they're the ones that broke that contract as far as I'm concerned four times over try to find a number for corporate to call and make a formal complaint and tell them but I cannot even find a corporate number so I will do consumer affair review tomorrow never had such poor service if I could give them a zero I would give them a zero they do not even deserve a one and I will never refer them I will never use them again
