  • Beautiful white backdrop, accentuated by copper fixtures and adorned with beautifully decorated sweets? You must be at Ruze! Ruze is a beautiful little shop located int Old Town and it brings it's own unique flair. They offer a variety of sweets from cupcakes, macarons, cookies all the way to tea infused drinks. The nice thing about Ruze, is it is always different. Every time I step foot in this slice of heaven, there are new treats offered, seasonal drinks and a new experience waiting. For Halloween they have upped their tea game by adding cotton candy to the top adorned with a small chocolate spider. I love that they took their traditional offerings and made a small change to make it extraordinary. I got the cookie butter milk tea and it was perfect. I had Boba added and it was nice and fresh. The drink tasted exactly like cookie butter without being overly sweet or heavy. For the holiday, they made exclusive macarons that included candy corn, peanut butter cup, pumpkin pie, caramel apple and more. There were amazing white chocolate skulls in the display case too. I grabbed the Peanut Butter Cup and it was so perfect! Not too rich, but flavorful. The pumpkin spice macaron was subtle with its pumpkin flavoring. There is free 3 hour parking out front and this is tucked away off of the main street. The cool thing is there are art installations across from the shop that add for cool picture ops while you drink your tea and snack on your treats. They also offer gorgeous wedding cakes though they are expensive, they are beautiful. Be prepared to spend a little more here but you are getting quality and those beautiful Instagram pictures we all crave!
