| - I took the specialty tour today to Sedona and Jerome, and it was fantastic. Worth every penny. I mainly wanted to see Sedona and, and I tagged on solo with another pair that had already booked the trip. It was very beautiful, we hit all of the key points, shopped around one very unique spot (I cannot remember what it is called) with some really great artwork and souvenirs, there was also opportunity to get in touch with your spiritual side and "the vortex"of Sedona if your into that sort of stuff. We then shopped around and had lunch in a more mainstream tourist strip in uptown Sedona. Our guide (Matt) pointed many key spots and formations in the mountains, suggested great photo ops, and was very excited and informative.
We also went to Jerome, AZ which honestly was nothing that I would have thought to do on my own, but I'm really glad that I went there, it was pretty cool and has a really interesting history. There is some pretty cool historical architecture, interesting shops (definitely check out the Kaleidoscope store) and gorgeous views there. It has a very old school feel, and is currently marketing itself as a "ghost town" which it essentially has become.
All in all it was a pretty awesome day, and I can't wait to have more tours with them when friends come visit!! Thanks guys!
