I stumbled upon this gem when meeting up with a friend. Coincidentally, I needed a haircut so I gave it a try. I ended up being serviced by Laura, my friend's longstanding hair dresser (she has been going to her for years, as does her family).
Pros:
- no surprises; Laura was very gracious and informative. She told me what to expect and inquired about the lengths that I wanted
- when I wanted more cut off, she was more than willing and very polite
- there is parking, yay! well we are in brampton (suburbs) so that is sort of expected
Cons:
- To ensure that you are paired with a specific hairstylist, you might need to make reservations in advance
- They don't accept AMEX... ?
Overall, I was very very VERY satisfied with House of Hair. Top quality, without a doubt. More often than not, hair dressers feel uncomfortable and the standard for error/mis-communication often leads to a less than desirable hairstyle. When it comes to my hair, I think it is worth every penny to be happy.
