  • Ok, let me get this straight... 50 Phoenix area Yelp Elites coincidentally ALL think Smooth Brew Coffee is 5/5 STARS, THE BEST COFFEE HOUSE IN PHOENIX? Well, all righty then... IMPORTANT CONTEXT Look at the pictures. It is a re-zoned house on McDowell Road in Central Phoenix. 5/5 STARS means that on every point, you are saying that this coffee shack is equivalent to Phoenix's BEST establishments and resorts. Which it's clearly not. SERVICE EXPERIENCE Now that we got that phony baloney (or should I say bologna) out of the way, I thought the place was cute, the coffee was delicious and the server, Jasmine, was adorable. I had the caramel macchiato iced latte upon Jasmine's suggestion. It was yummy and kept me fired up for hours after. CONCLUSION I'm not going to go on and on about the place. 154 people before me have described every last detail of the place elaborately, and I think the pictures say it all. Clearly the owner advertises on Yelp (and is getting his money's worth) and is extremely committed to succeeding. THAT I DO LIKE. The owner's dedication shows through loud and clear on all aspects of the experience. And for that alone I have high confidence in the establishment. I am also extremely committed to supporting local businesses. It's honestly 3/5 Stars. I give an extra 1 Star for determination. 4/5 RECOMMEND OF NOTE *There is parking in back and on the street. *There is a drive through.
