| - Lived in NoDa for about 6 months and finally decided to check out what the "strip" has to offer.
Blended Bartique is a boutique that allows you to sip while you shop -- hence the name of the store.
Prices seem average for a boutique, and alcohol served while you shop doesn't hurt either [didn't drink; didn't stay long].
While browsing, the public conversation between two associates turned what seemed to be a normal, comfortable shopping environment...into an uncomfortable experience.
One of the two associates seemed to be in-training -- the clear, blunt, conversation was a "How-to" detect/stop theft in the store: How-to suspect theft, How-to step in and recover, How-to notify law enforcement, How-to replay store footage...the list goes on...not to mention the fact that they spoke about a recent theft that occurred.
There is a time and place for everything, especially a conversation between two sales associates that involves private, explicit, details about internal store operations and procedures.
Will not be returning, will be spreading the word.
