  • This hotel is crap. From little things like the bathroom not being stocked with hand towels to being locked out if our room for no apparent reason after a long day on the lake; from a serous lack of courtesy on the part of nearly every staff member we had contact with to having to park our truck and jetskis in the Excalibur parking lot a block away because the Monte Carlo has no RV parking; from the horrible buffet (which made my husband sick after breakfast) to being woken up at 6 am because that's when construction starts at the site just outside our window; pretty much every aspect of our stay was a disappointment. The only redeeming point...the beds were very comfortable, that's why this hotel gets one generous star from me. I will never stay here again and would not recommend Monte Carlo to anyone.
