  • One needs to have their expectations and masochist-meter in check before joining FFF. This gym will indeed give you the best workout of your life, if you can handle it. It is intense. It is rewarding, but not for everyone. The FFF manifesto in my own words: You shall worship Sgt. Tony A. You shall obey your instructors, even if they humiliate you. You shall not take sips of water unless you are allowed and told to do so. You shall not speak during class. You shall be kicked out of the class if you are not doing the exercises. Must tell instructor your injuries at the beginning of class. You are not allowed to rest, unless you are told to. Your name will be called out. You shall be punctual for class. You shall make friends and hang out with other FFF members because they just "get it." You shall go drinking with FFF friends. You may even find your husband or wife. The possibilities are endless. PROS: -You WILL see results in a short amount of time. That's what you're paying the big bucks for right? -Group classes only. -HIIT/Cross-fit military style exercises and training that target your whole body -Classes are scheduled at good times/perfect for working professionals -Excellent, friendly front-desk service -The instructors are great; I love Geoff's classes; he always switches them up and Roshanda's boxing classes are awesome for cardio. Imran has some slower packed classes for weight training that work out muscle groups you never even knew you had. I usually avoid Tony's classes because I'm scared. -Seasonal sales on memberships/class packages. CONS: -Price: membership is too expensive. Sometimes they have sales; they have recently added a -VIP component. -No water fountains -Basic change rooms; ugly lockers. -No towels -Blow dryers don't work; cheap -Must cancel 4 hours before class start-time to avoid a $15 fee. This is ridiculous especially since the classes are so overcroweded, FFF is clearly not losing any $ by non-attendees. The classes are now TOO packed. So happy for FFF's success but they have to limit their class sizes; 70 people is just unacceptable and claustrophobic and someone's bound to get hurt. -If you're one of those people that obsesses about the number on the scale, it will go up due to muscle weight. Some last words: This is the only gym I can go to 3 times a week and keep my physique on fleek so for that reason, I can't stray.
