| - Ate dinner here last night on a last minute date with my wife. Rather than chance it, I made a reservation on Open Table for 7:00pm. I arrived before my wife did and saw that it was mostly empty and that it had a nice patio to enjoy the nice weather. So, I grabbed a book and headed for? the door.
Upon being met at the door by the hostess, I was asked whether I had a reservation or not. I told her that I did and she went to look at the computer, which I could plainly see, too. There were only three reservations between 6:30 and 7:15 and, as I said earlier, the restaurant was mostly empty. She then told me that my reservation was for 7:00pm and wanted to know if my guest had arrived yet. I told her that she hadn't, but that I'd like to go ahead and grab a table until she arrived. She grabbed the menus and walked me outside. When she put them on the table, she just stacked everything (menus/specials/utensils) for me to unstack myself. She just seemed to be disgruntled about something, but I shrugged it off.
The waiter (named Todd) came by and he was great. He was personable and knowledgeable? about the menu. His recommendations were great. I got the meatballs and orzo. Flavor was great, but the dish was a bit watery because they didn't drain the orzo properly. I'd still get it again, though. My wife got the crab cakes, which she loved because of the amount of crab in them.
Would recommend this place to my friends, but would tell them to ignore any unfriendliness they may encounter at the front door.
