  • Rollon Smoke was an overall good barbeque experience. The barbeque itself was good, and was somewhat reasonably priced, but that's where the good part of it ended. Now it's expected that a barbeque establishment would have a number of sticky, somewhat dirty décor, but this place was at least a little bit more than that. Very little cleaning up happens here and everything looked like a big hot mess. Service was decent, although a bit slow for a night that didn't have a lot going on. They were starting to close up however so I wouldn't ding them too harshly for having a likely busier part of their day that they're recovering from. As for the sides, and rest of what was offered. The sweet tea was a letdown since it was sweetened tea, not sweet tea. The sweet corn cornbread was decent, along with the mac & cheese and other items, but it didn't wow me. The ribs though, I may come back and endure to at least have another taste of that. I will definitely try this again and give it another shot, and maybe change my original first impression on the venue. Oh yeah, the sauces were forgettable.
