This place is a great little date spot or for gatherings with friends. A friend and I came around 1am during their happy hour special. We were told we'd have to wait awhile to be seated but ended up being seated right away. I'd suggest a reservation if you want a definite time. I liked that we could still order sushi even though we were there for the teppanyaki. I order the white girl and it was pretty decent for being made fairly quickly. Fish tasted fresh but I wouldn't come here only for sushi.
We both had the chicken, which surprisingly came with fried rice and vegetables. We were ready to order them for an additional fee, so pretty stoked to see it included. The rice was seasoned very well and was tasty! The vegetables were also good.
I liked that it came with the normal mayo based sauce and the sweeter sauce, but the garlic butter is where it was at! Soooo good I put it on everything! There was also a garlic butter soy sauce that was also tasty. Of course I got some hot sauces too, which comprised of chili garlic paste and also Sriracha. Chicken was okay, cooked well. Portion seemed a little small compared to what I'm used to elsewhere, but still satisfying nonetheless. My sushi roll and chicken dinner came to be about $17 and change before tip. Not bad at all. I'll definitely be coming back to try the steak!
