  • Have been a fan of this theater since it opened. One of the best things to come from the Riverview opening in Mesa. Nice location, parking is great, and the employees are always friendly and helpful. The popcorn is really good (second only to Harkins in the Valley). Speaking of Harkins, Cinemark honors the Harkins' loyalty cups. Have seen many sneak previews, special premieres, and new releases here over the years. Always a good experience. Just saw Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (35th Anniversary - Director's Cut) there. My only gripe would be that there were not enough employees managing the concessions and even though many people arrived before the film was slated to start...we all ended up in two long lines to get our popcorn and drinks. Missed a few minutes of the pre-movie interview with William Shatner. Thank goodness this special event had that added content so we didn't miss the beginning of the movie. Loved the reclining seats and the online ordering so we had guaranteed seats.
