Great workout! Really tough if you've never done it before. I'm pretty active, but I think anyone would agree that Pilates is a different kind of workout so even if you run or lift weights, the muscles you're using and targeting in Pilates are different. So basically I was sore for like a week after my first time, but ended up going back 3 days later to make sure I wasn't wasting my soreness lol. I bought the new person 10 class pack, it's a great deal. Comes out to $10 a class. Both the Arcadia and Central locations are really nice. The classes are small so there is a lot of interaction between you and the instructor. They will come and around and help you or correct your posture, if necessary (which I appreciate). Great experience and first class is free so why not give it a try!
