I went to The Greater Good a few weeks ago with a large group for a birthday. The bar itself is beautiful and cool - from the amazing signage outside to the elevated, wooden picnic style tables on the main floor. We arrived at about 9pm on a Friday night and were able to snag two large tables at the front. We moved out to the patio a couple of hours later and were lucky to find two tables for our group. The bar is very spacious!
The top floor has arcade games and we lost a few friends to the second level for awhile. I personally loved the skeeball and pinball machines, and of course those are the ones that cost money. I kept putting toonies in the pinball machine, losing, and not realizing that I had multiple credits - oops! Hopefully people took advantage of my free games.
The North of Brooklyn pizza window was very convenient and a few people got slices or full pies for the table. Unfortunately with no vegan options I wasn't able to partake in any noshing, but I was there for the beer anyway.
I like that this place is a little further north and isolated from the typical Parkdale/Ossington strip of bars. Will definitely be back!
