| - If I have just one piece of advice to give, it is this: do not allow yourself to be pulled into this store with the promise of "free" samples. If you do, you will be hustled by some of the highest pressure salespeople you've ever met. They seem so friendly at first but don't be fooled. They want your money, and only your money. I was given a sales pitch that first of all, made no sense. I was told by a smooth-talking, fast-talking woman that "this cream would be $900, but for you...$50". It was like a bad infomercial. As she put some cream under my eyes she did not stop talking. The whole thing felt phony and contrived. She also didn't care when I told her I didn't have much time. The last thing she wanted was for me to actually walk out and have time to think about it. If their products are legit, what are they so desperate for?
All the employees seem to think they are very smooth with words in there. I was told how I "deserve it" and to "do something for myself" and what beautiful skin I had. All kinds of fake compliments and fake charm from beginning to end. As far as the woman who applied the "free sample" cream to my eyes, all I saw in her own eyes was desperation. She obviously had no idea what she was talking about. She babbled on and on and on, sounding more like that bad infomercial by the minute. Funny how each new offer she mentioned was "just for me". Why? Why was it just for me? It was such a joke.
This whole operation has the feeling of a scam business. If you're a tourist, you are the one they're looking for. They know that you are likely not staying in Vegas for long, and once you leave, you will not be able to return these over-priced, questionable products. I regret ever being dragged into that place and wasting time on my precious vacation.
