Holy moly this place brings back memories of Hawaii. They serve large portions of all the local favorites for a great price. We came here looking to get our poi fix. We ended up ordering way more than we could fit in our stomachs but happy to have enough leftovers for dinner. I had the mixed plate with kalbi and roast pork with gravy. My girlfriend had the loco moco. We shared the shoyu flavored ahi poke as an appetizer. And of course the order of poi.
The roast pork is very moist with great pork flavor. The gravy on top makes it all the more savory. Smothered over some rice and bam! Just a good ol' fashion local kine meal. The loco moco is similar to ones I've had in Hawaii but that is exactly what we were looking for. The ahi in Vegas is not as fresh as it is in Hawaii so the poke wasn't all that great but that isn't the restaurant's fault. Fresh, medium grade ahi for a reasonable price in Vegas has eluded me so far but I'm still hoping to find some. We will definitely be back!
