I got a pair a glasses from Nationwide location on Frank Lloyd and 101, in Scottsdale, about a year and 3 months ago and paid aprox. $ 500.00. Today, sitting at my desk at work, one of the arms just came apart from the frame without me doing anything to cause that. I took the frame back and inquired about my options. I was told: It`s probably out of warranty and she did not offer any other choice. I asked if she could at least check in the computer to see if that`s correct. Of course the warranty expired 3 months ago. They do not do any repairs on site but after me asking again what are my options they recommended a repair shop about half an our away. They still have the same frame and I was told I can buy it for $ 150.00. For a frame to come apart after one year, for no cause, I was hoping that they would at least offer a discount. Not the case. The personnel on site did not seem to be concerned about this situation which makes me think that they are aware that their products are low quality. They also seem to have no concept of customer service; they talked two at a time to the same customer and they do the same thing with the next customer while I am waiting patiently to be noticed. After I approached the counter and we started discussing my problem, the phone rings. She picks up the phone and I am left to listen as she schedules an appointment. Obviously that will bring some money in, while my problem wont.
As I am heading towards the door I hear a distant "We are sorry about that". I am not even really sure that they were talking to me.
Needles to say I will never go back there and will never recommend this place to anybody.
Seems to be a typical big corporation approach to business: poor quality products made in China and poor customer service made in America.
Sad.
