Before I write a single critical comment about this "resort", understand this. Every negative comment you read in other reviews is true. I read them, took them with a grain of salt, but made my reservation for a busy holiday weekend because a block of rooms had been set aside for our group at Westgate.
I won't bore you with details, so here are the highlights:
- Hassled by greeters giving out free gifts (time share?) every step of the way to the check in desk
- 50 minute wait in line to check in
- Room with two beds per reservation unavailable
- Waited three hours after check in to receive a roll-out second bed
- Television did not work
- Pool was unavailable due to remodeling and still I paid a "resort fee"
- In hotel Pizza Hut Express closed at a ridiculous early hour (9 or 10)
- Trendy "rose colored" porcelain sink and toilet from the 80's
- Tub is missing some finish on the inside, so it's like standing in a partly rusted Motel 6 shower
This place needs a thorough renovation from top to bottom. It would be much nicer if it was better maintained in its current state. But hell! If you can't check in people in a timely manner on a Friday night (at 10 pm), you pretty much know what to expect.
If this was the last hotel standing in Vegas, I would never visit Vegas again.
