| - Sometimes you see ratings and question why, then you get there and find out. Unfortunately at this time I have to agree with the current rating.... I am 1 day in here and less than excited by how things are done.
When I arrived it was very chaotic. A long line of people waiting to check in/out. I noticed some kiosks but wasn't sure who could use. I walked around looking for someone to ask a question to. Finally saw 3 employees standing at a station talking among themselves so asked them. They directed me to a kiosk. My advise would be to have someone greeting and helping direct people when it is that busy.
Second, I get checked in and get to my room and they have placed me in a room that has "adjoining" option, which means that you can unlock doors in booth rooms for free flow. Nightmare. I am traveling alone. The room next to me is a family with kids yelling, crying and banging on said door. The sound echos across my room. I was so exhausted from travel I just figured I was headed out shortly and hopefully they would be asleep when I got back. They were. Unfortunately they wake up at 7am, my first morning in weeks to be able to sleep in. They are banging on things, yelling, crying, parents swearing at them, it's a scene out of a bad sitcom. So I call the front desk, explain the situation and ask why they would put a single occupancy person next to a family where the translation of noise would be known and they told me they assign rooms randomly. ... ok fine. So I ask what can be done and they say "well they are checking out today"....... okayyyyy. That was all. So I got to try to work thru 2 hours of screaming, crying, banging and swearing till they apparently check out.
I guess we see what day 2 brings as to how I adjust my review. At this time not impressed at all. Rooms are dated but clean. Couch looks questionable. My nose is stuffed up so can not comment on smells.
Day 2-4 went better. When I called down to inquiry about where my room charges were I got a very pleasant fellow who not only told me where I was and reminded me of my daily fee but also reminded me u had a food credit! I was ecstatic. Ran across several more employees asking them questions here and there and all were helpful and kind. Last day ran into a bell man in the elevation and he took my
Bags right there and checked me in for the baggage check so I didn't have to go all the way across the resort! My bartender took my order (which was to go) and waited till I got back to finalize my drink to make sure he had the right recipient for me! The workout room is dated but clean and the spa area calming and soothing.
On over all notes:
Most other staff has been pretty friendly over all. And I would come back to visit.
