  • This is a must if you are visiting Madison! Nothing can compare to sitting on the green, yellow, and orange metal chairs on the terrace on a nice summer day or night. Taking in the view of Lake Mendota while listening to live music, drinking beer, and being in the company of friends is something that I will carry forever. I'm obviously biased with my review having gone to school here and had a couple jobs while in school in the building but I think that people from out of town would enjoy the Memorial Union too. The building was built with donations from selfless students that would never use the facility while they attended school in the great depression.
