  • I met a friend here for dinner. And lucky for us it was Tiki Tuesday! What did that mean? $5 app and drink specials!!! Yay! The drinks here are definitely strong. You've been warned. I tried a Waikiki martini and Hibiscus Punch Cooler. Of the two drinks my favorite was the punch cooler it's a mix of hibiscus tea, rum and citrus juices. It was light and refreshing but still packed a mean much. We tried all the apps on special which were the shrimp and bacon dumplings, pork tacos and teriyaki chicken wings! Here's the run down: Shrimp and Bacon dumplings: They lightly fried dumplings in a ham broth. These were very tasty. I mean you can't go wrong with bacon ever...but the ham broth added an interesting combination of flavors. I'd absolutely get them again. Pork Tacos: Think pork sliders....in a taco! The taco shells were stuffed with shredded pork, peanut slaw and onion strings. Delish. Like seriously, so tasty we ordered a second round! I really like the combination of the pork and peanut slaw. Very good!! Teriyaki Chicken Wings: Classic. Perfectly cooked. And the best part was the goat cheese dipping sauce. It wasn't like anything I'd tasted before. I really enjoyed it mixed with the teriyaki sauce. Totally a party in my mouth. Overall, such a cute little spot!!! Funky decor, good food and strong drinks...I'm totally a fan. If you're on this side, definitely check them out.
