  • Frequently thrown into conversations about the best BBQ in Vegas Rollin Smoke is certainly better than most, but is it actually good BBQ? I tried to write this view avoiding all hints of BBQ snobbery but that is just impossible for me- the snob is too strong. So you may want to take my comments with a grain of salt- for the average American RSB is probably perfectly acceptable BBQ. Having lived in the south and spent a lot of time in Texas and KC it wasn't all that I hoped it would be, but it was still probably the best in Vegas (probably need to due a more detailed head to head vs Road Kill) If you are from the south or KC you will prob find RSB to be pretty mediocre. If, however, you are a Las Vegas local who doesn't get to travel to BBQ hotspots frequently then it is a lifeline. Its all a matter of perspective really. There is nothing wrong with RSB, the food is pretty good. It would not, however, stay in business in large scale BBQ cities. I got the buffet so I could try everything. My favorite BBQ, or really any, food is beef rib so I ordered one of those right off the bat. The beef rib was a little dry, something several people had warned me about in advance, but smothered with sauce it was pretty decent. Not life changing, but definitely good and considering how few places in LV even serve beef rib its probably the go to for that. Pulled Pork- this was better than the beef rib. Not dry, pretty flavorful, went well with the sauce. They showed the pig the respect it deserves Pork rib- def better than the beef rib here. Seemed like it had been smoked for a good amount of time and wasn't way over done to the point where the bones fall apart or anything Brisket- meh. The brisket I got had very little fat and so very little flavor and was somewhat dry. I like big thick slices of brisket, these were very thin and not very tall, so I'm guessing they weren't cut off a complete brisket. Chicken- this was actually pretty good. I don't normally order chicken at BBQ places because its chicken and pig is usually available but since it was all you can eat I gave it a whirl. Would eat again Mac and Cheese- this seemed like it had some potential but was served pretty cold. It was in fact Cheezy Baked Beans- these were great, would eat again and in large quantity. Corn nuggets- fried corn, hard to go wrong, could eat about 3 lbs of these in one sitting.
