| - I have had terrible service with Wind Mobile from the very beginning. It all started when I purchased the Huawei U7519 which is complete garbage. The touch screen is hard to use. You practically have to beat on it to make anything work. When I couldn't figure out how to set up my email, I went in to this location. I left my phone with the 3 sales people working there for about 3/4 of an hour. I came back and had one of them tell me that they couldn't figure out the email either, they all tried but none could help. Are you kidding me???!!! What kind of company sells you a product only to tell you they don't know how to use it? Wind Mobile that's who! The people in this store are complete idiots. I realize Wind is new but for goodness sake, you need to learn how to use the products before you sell them to customers.
I returned my phone that instant and was told they could only refund my phone cost, not the phone card. Hmmm. I called customer service only to have them tell me no, that's wrong information and I am to be reimbursed the cost of the phone card as well. Customer service agent tries to call the store and they don't answer the phone. Hmmmm. Back to store I go. I explain what I was told. They put in a request for the refund and say I'll have a cheque sent to me within a couple of weeks. That's a big fat lie! It takes 6-8 weeks. Once again, the Calgary store sales people don't have a clue what they're talking about.
So now I'm fighting with customer service to get my money back and it's not looking like I'll see money any time soon.
Wind Mobile is a gong show. They have the worst customer service people, most don't have any idea about anything. They are useless when it comes to showing you features on the phones they sell, they constantly give wrong information, and the real important part is that out of the 2 phone calls I made on the phone which I had for all of 5 days, one call got dropped. Yes folks, Wind has very poor coverage. The maps they have online are wrong. I was in Calgary and my phone would constantly change from Home to Away to No Service even though I was sitting in the house the whole time. Don't be fooled with the pricing or offers they have. Their coverage is awful and the customer service even worse. Until they get some competent employees and more cell towers, I'd stay as far away from Wind Mobile as possible.
