  • I really wanted to give Savor Cafe 5 stars but while the food was wonderful, there were some issues with the service. First, we had to ask for silverware for 6 of the 8 of us. I won't fault them on running out of the beer I originally ordered. It happens. But the server asked me if I wanted a 2nd beer of the brand I ordered as a replacement. 20 minutes later, I think it finally appeared. And lastly, I ordered the Pork Tenderloin which is on the menu. I was looking forward to the southern flavors of this dish. After a long wait, someone comes out and tells me they over cooked my meal and it was the only one they had so I selected something else...a pork special...I really forget what it was advertised as. I've watched enough cooking shows to know that these things happen. The good things about Savor are the food is incredible. The meal came out and it made me forget about my original order. The pork fell off the bone and the veggies were tender also. It was a very homey meal! The Peanut Butter Pie for dessert looked too good to eat but I managed! It was quite delicious. Other people at my table had the Key Lime Pie and the Coca Cola Cake which I heard were also to die for. Despite some problems, the staff gave me my entree for free and they made the effort to correct any issues. I think they are definitely worth another shot.
