| - Amazing experience. I came here with a group of 12 other guys for my bachelor party (we went with the $75 option) and we were all blown away. JD gave us an incredibly interesting lesson about the history of whiskey, the process of making it, and the urban legends and wives' tails that persist to this day but are mostly nonsense. It was thorough, but never boring, and all of us at the table learned a lot.
The tasting, which is obviously the primary reason to go to The Whisky Attic, was outstanding. Adam's CSTEM method for tasting is no gimmick - in the middle of our first taste, every one of us at the table looked at each other, eyes wide in amazement. Suffice to say it'll change the way you drink and appreciate not just whisky, but other types of alcohol as well. While we all got to try some really incredible whiskey, perhaps the most enjoyable part was that we weren't ever told that the most expensive or rare whiskeys ought to be our favorite - just that they've all got something interesting to offer.
This very well could have been our favorite activity from my bachelor party weekend. If you enjoy whiskey at all, and want to learn more about it, this is an experience you and your friends will love.
