Wish I could do a 3.5 review, since 4 is too high and 3 is maybe too low. I had a Chicago dog, and it was delicious (though very overpriced at $9), and my husband really liked his chili cheese dog. The reason for not scoring higher is that the poutine, the reason I sought Station Street out, was probably the worst poutine I've ever had. I'm a Canadian, but I'm not a poutine snob. I've enjoyed plenty of average poutines, but this was far worse than "average." The gravy was quite horrible, way too salty and just too unpleasant tasting to eat. I couldn't finish it. The plain fries by themselves were good, so the problem was entirely with the gravy.
I'd definitely go back for the cheaper hot dogs and plain fries, but they should take the poutine off the menu if that's the best they can do for gravy.
