I know you don't have much of a choice about electricity in the Vegas valley, but be warned: watch your billing statements like a hawk! They messed up my billing when I moved across town and relocated my service. At first I had to call them MONTHLY to go back and trace through the bills (talking to multiple people because the bills were so confusing to follow plus each person I talked to gave me a different answer about the amount) just to find out how much I actually owed. So then I switched to "equal payment" so I could predict how much was automatically coming out of my account each month without having the hassle of a monthly phone call. That was my biggest mistake, because a year later when I move out of state I suddenly OWE them even MORE money. I know its from the messed up bill over 12 months ago but they way their statements and billing works makes it impossible to track and prove anything! I know without a doubt I have been overcharged. I should have stuck with tracking it myself month to month and calling every darn month.
