My update is LONG overdue. I have been to Bricktop's so many times since 2012 and I hate that I have not updated my rating. Needless to say every visit has been extroadinary last night's visit kicked this place to a five star rating in my book.
I called ahead and put my name in, for two, and was told 45 to 50 minutes. Upon arrival we checked in and headed for the bar. The bartenders were SO attentive and delivered water while we previewed the drink menu. Wanting to try something new the bartender gave me her take on a few drinks so I went with the French Martini, vodka, chamboard and pineapple juice...Loved it! My guest enjoyed a Cabernet.
We enjoyed our cocktails and after 35 minutes were seated at a booth table in the bar.
Our waiter arrived and brought water and bread, wish was so warm and fresh, it just started the meal off perfectly.
On this visit I decided to indulge with the Crab Cakes and Mashed Potatoes and was able to also taste the Trout with Lump Crab Meat and Deviled Eggs my date ordered.
The deviled eggs, how have I not ordered these before??? The creamy yolk was to die for. As for the entrees, the trout was cooked too perfection with a creamy butter sause and large lump crab scattered on top. As for the crab cakes, they were too die for. All crab meat with VERY little filler.
From the cocktails, service and food Brickop's is not a place to not check out.
