  • While Broadway is some states away, Overture has successfully brought Broadway events to our beloved Madison. Living only one block away from this art center, I consider myself lucky to have been able watching a number of Broadway performances, such as Wicked, Mary Poppin, and other world-class performances. Coming from a country where this type of entertainment remains unaffordable for a grad student like me, I am very thankful that Overtures even have some student tickets. This is social justice, for me :D Arts should be enjoyed by many people, not only the minority. On other note, the staff is super helpful, too. I know they (some of them, if not all) do a volunteer work, which makes me respect them even more!
