Forgettable experience here and almost didn't bother with a review, but I figured someone might find useful. Essentially came by for a last drink for the night after wandering State street and capital square as it was one of a handful of spot that seemed to be open still late on a Saturday...
PROS:
-Cheap drinks, my whiskey smash only cost $7
-Our bartender/server was good. Promptly provided menus upon seating and quick to take our orders
CONS:
-Whiskey smash was overly sweet, but can't complain too much as it was cheap af compared to what I'm used to paying in Chicago
-Ambiance... Feels like corporate hotel bar, some weirdos/hobos wandering around entrance and eventually ran into one of them in the restroom
-Overhearing the other bartender talking to the couple next to us (seemed like they were friends) about how wasted he got last night and how he was barely making it through his shift
-Seemed like a younger college crowd all around and everyone seem to know someone working there and saying what up to a point where you just feel out of place
Anyways, not really my scene I guess or just not feeling the vibes here. If coming here for drinks, I'd pass and go elsewhere.
'Til next time.
