CREDIT CARD CHARGED TWICE! NO REFUND!!
I have had the WORST experience with Sixt at Charlotte Airport.
My credit card was charged twice for my rental. When I called the Sixt in Charlotte, I was told to call back the next day. I called back FOUR times the next day and they told me to call back three hours later each time. Finally, the told me they would process my refund by the end of the day The refund was never processed.
I called back 6 times the next day and no one picked up the phone. They delibrately ignored my phone calls. I called back using another phone number and they instantly picked up the phone. When they realized it was me, they hung up the phone. I called back a 4 more times.
Finally someone picked up the phone and told me that I should have sent them the proof on my credit card statement (WHEN WERE THEY GOING TO TELL ME THIS? WHO DO I SEND IT TO?). I finally got in touch with the manager and the manager told me to email him the bank statement. I STILL have not gotten a refund!
I understand that people make mistakes, but the way this refund process has been handled is RIDICULOUS. Between them hanging up on me and delibrately ignoring my phone calls and telling me to call back later, I have had enough. This is not how you treat human beings.
Absolutely the worst customer service I could EVER imagine! I am warning all my friends to stay away!
