While staying in Las Vegas, my wife and I decided to have a very late dinner at Mr. Lucky's 24-7. We have read the reviews for this restaurant and we wanted to try it. They are open 24 hours.
We arrived at the place around 10:40 p.m. The hostess informed us to get the Player's Card to get discount for their dinner and credit for gambling at the Casino.
My wife and I decided to have Mr. Lucky's famous Gambler's Special. I asked the waiter about this special and he informed that in order to get this special, a drink must also be ordered with the meal. He informed us that the meal consists of a piece of steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans.
The steak was decent size, but not too generous! Both our pieces were tough to chew. Our green beans were undercooked, almost raw, making them also tough to chew. The mashed potatoes were OK, not too great but not bad either. The normal price of the Gambler's Special is $9.99 but you get a $2.00 discount with the Player's Card.
For this night, our experience at Mr. Lucky's 24-7 was a less than average one. If we find ourselves in Las Vegas again, we may give Mr. Lucky's 24-7 another chance.
