I was a patient of Dr. Cox's a couple of years ago. I think he's a good doctor and an excellent surgeon, but a communicator he's not. I don't know how many times when my appointment was finished, his assistant would ask me "when does he want to see you again" and I had to tell them "I don't know, he didn't tell me" making kind of a joke about it. Bedside manner - he can use some work on, but he is a great surgeon. His staff at that time was always very friendly, although they were not always
the best communicators either.
