  • So much of my childhood was spent at the zoo that it is impossible not to love it. The giraffe exhibit is the best of any zoo I have been to, same with the new elephant area. The Primate, Cat, and Aquatics building is great and also served as Cleveland's only aquarium for many years. For some reason, I have always liked the walkway to this building. The Seal area is also nice. Given the fact that I grew up with a zoo so big I generally feel just a tad disappointed when I go to a zoo in another city. This zoo is enormous and even though I live pretty close, I often don't see the entire place in a single visit. This makes it all the more fun to keep going back. My girlfriend and I just became zoo members for the first time and I am really excited to be going here all the time. This is a great zoo that every Clevelander should be proud of.
