  • Can't say enough good things about the Alexander Homestead. This place is beautiful and you would be doing yourself a disservice by not at least going to check it out. Here are our opinions: 1) Christi is absolutely great to work with and makes the whole process go smoothly with her coordination. 2) The caterer for the venue made some great food for our wedding! Everyone loved it 3) The bakery that the venue uses (Nona's Sweets) did a great job as well and their cupcakes were off the charts 4) DJ Rich Lange from the venue was awesome! 5) Garrett from Carolina Portrait Designs does great photography work (house photographer) 6) Opt for the horse and carriage, you will not regret it!!!! 7) Last but not least, the recommended officiant Pastor Jim Lytle does an amazing job! He offers pre-marital counseling, which we suggest everyone do before getting married. Everyone on both sides of our families has remarked how beautiful and well put together the wedding was. They loved the grounds and venue along with the food & music. There isn't anything at all that we would change about our special day.
